I have tried it before and tried it again this morning and I have the latest software for X1. NBTEvo iDrive 4 to iDrive 6 + activation of BMW Apple CarPlay Fullscreen + Screen Mirroring (Android) + VIM (Video In Motion) Solution is VERY stable. Does not work on this incarnation of iDrive (Hybrid version 6). Can also redownload the idrive software from the bmw website and update via USB if needed. Process is done remotely and takes 1 hour. Yeah, just hold down the power button / volume knob until it reboots.
